Antique copper engraving of plans for ancient Doric columns from the academic study “Recueil d’Architecture†from 1780. The Doric order was one of three orders of ancient Greek and, later, Roman architecture. The simple circular capitals at the top of columns was an easily recognizable characteristic of the Doric order.
Original vintage one-of-a-kind artwork on paper displayed on a white mat with a gold border. Mat fits a standard-size frame. Archival plastic sleeve and Certificate of Authenticity included. Artwork, 10″L x 15.5″H; mat, 16″L x 20″H.
